Non-EU data talent benefits from Germany’s EU Blue Card program, which features lower minimum income thresholds for STEM/IT shortage occupations (€45,934/year) and fast-tracked permanent residency (21–27 months). English is the universal working language across tech teams and AI labs. Hybrid working arrangements (2 days in-office per week) are standard across Berlin.
